There was some great collaborative making going on at our regular meetup on Tuesday.

New Sparker and keen motorcyclist Stu came up with a design for a custom bracket to mount an indicator to the faring of his street bike.

Starting with a prototype made of plasticine Stu worked with our resident CAD wizard Adam to create a 3D model of his design. Adam spends his days modelling auto parts so this was right up his alley...

With a completed 3D model the next question was "Why don't we print it?". The answer was of course, "Why not?".

The assembled Sparkers gathered around the Ordbot and talked tech while we watched Stu and Adam's creation come to life...

30 mins later we had a completed print of Stu's design...
